Motorcycle Deaths

4,935 motorcycle deaths.

Deaths as a result of motorcycle accidents is becoming more common amongst motorcyclists. As the years pass, the body count for these particular accidents is increasing largely. Scientists have dedicated they're time to figuring out why.

Researcher Harry Hurt conducted studies on nearly every aspect of 900 motorcycle accidents, in the Los Angeles area. Hurt and his staff also analyzed 3,600 motorcycle traffic accident reports in the same area.

Three fourths of motorcycle accidents were collisions involving cagers(automobile drivers). 

One fourth of the accidents were collisions involving inanimate objects: poles, curbs, walls, etc.

Most of the other accidents were due to a motorcyclist operating his vehicle incorrectly, causing skids, low and high sides, etc.

A large part of why motorcyclists keep getting into accidents is because most bikers have bad environmental hazard and road sign perception skills. They cannot acquire information and retain it long enough for it to be of any use to them. Motorcyclists also become fatigued and stop focusing on the task of operating their vehicle. Day dreaming while riding means death.

Fuel leaks and other vehicle malfunctions preceded most crashes.

Less than 10% of bikers involved in crashes had insurance.

Get insurance, pay attention, look around, and always always think and perceive. Do these things, and you will live.

I'm a Conservative Democrat?

Interesting. Apparently I belong to the group where less than half go to church, and/or bible study, and only a third have a gun. Im right where I belong. When it comes to immigration I am conservative, however when it comes to illegal/criminal immigrants I go strongly conservative. However I am okay with a bit of mixup, I think the application process should be a bit more lenient and all immigrants should be forced to get an A+ on an english test before admittance to the country.

Blah, blah, blah. Regardless, I am happy with my choice, I agree, I love the USA and motorcycles and motor bikes and our president.
